Kay Curry

Manager and Licensed Funeral Director

Kay is a fourth generation Funeral Director and a lifelong resident of Dyersburg, with over 45 years experience in funeral service and funeral pre-planning. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and is the mother of 2 daughters: Ann Proud is a teacher at Caruthersville High School and Allison Phelps is a kindergarten teacher at Tipton-Rosemark Academy. She also has 4 grandchildren, David Proud, Georgianne, Molly Kate and Charlotte "Charley" Curry Phelps . Kay is a member of First United Methodist Church in Dyersburg, Community Cancer Fund board member, Tennessee Funeral Directors Association, former State Chairman of the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association Annual Convention, Dyersburg-Dyer County Chamber of Commerce 2010 Distinguished Woman of the Year, a member of Breakfast Rotary Club, serving as President in 2005-2006 and is a Paul Harris Fellow. She is also active in various fund raising events in the community.
