Rebecca "Becky" Ramey Williams

Rebecca “Becky” Ramey Williams, 76, of the Fowlkes Community, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at her residence.  Born September 27, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Pauline Sorrell Yarbrough.  She was retired from Dyersburg City School as a bookkeeper at Dyersburg High School.  Becky was a member of Evansville Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Lynn Williams and Reverend Clint Veal with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Justin Veal, Clint Veal, Brice Ramey, Dalton Ramey, Colton Ramey, Coby Williams, Jordan Veal and Bryson Lay will serve as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends Friday, November 2nd from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.                                   

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Don Williams; two sons, Marty Ramey (Dana) of Bonicord, Hank Ramey (Stacey) of Deale, MD; one step-daughter, Shonda Veal (Bob) of Dyersburg; one step-son, Lynn Williams (Sherry) of Princeton, KY; two brothers, Theron Yarbrough (Tippy) of Newbern, Paul Yarbrough (Virginia) of Parsons;  eight grandchildren, Justin Veal, Clint Veal, Brice Ramey, Dalton Ramey, Colton Ramey, Coby Williams, Crystal Williams, Alexa Ramey; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Buck Ramey; one sister, Grace Davis and one brother, Thomas Yarbrough.
