Bernise Moody

Bernise Moody, 91 of Dyersburg passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018, at her residence.

Born February 06, 1927 in Dyer County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Myrtle McGuire. She was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held Sunday at 3:30pm at Fairview Cemetery officiated by Ryan Byrd. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.

She leaves two sons, Dennis Moody (Diane) & Mark Moody (Teresa) all of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Emily Gail Byrd (Ryan) of Medina, TN & John Mark Moody of Dyersburg; 4 great-grandchildren; Brayden Byrd, Jaxon Byrd & Lynlee Byrd of Medina and Jay Moody of Dyersburg.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Dale Moody, three brothers, Norman McGuire of Pensacola FL, Raymond McGuire of Bowling Green, KY and J.R. McGuire of Dyersburg.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
