Cathy Cook Jones

Cathy Cook Jones, 54, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her residence. She was born March 23, 1964 to the late Malcolm Eugene and Emily Joann Eison Cook.   She was an employee at Unilever, attended First Christian Church and an active volunteer at Fifth Consolidated School and First United Methodist Church preschool.  

She is survived by her son, Christopher Sawyers (Sarah) of Newbern; sister, Patty Rose (David) of Dyersburg; niece, Donya Welch (Jon) of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Caysen, Hunter and Gavin Sawyers, Ashlee Crowder; three great-grandchildren, Kylie Rose, Adalyn Brooke and Rian Elizabeth Crowder; and great-niece, Addison Jones; and great-nephew, Jon Ashton Welch.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. until service time.
