James Harold Williams

November 28, 1940 — July 26, 2018

 

James Harold Williams, 77, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, July 26, 2018 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.  Born November 28, 1940, he was the son of the late J.O. and Vera Mae Williams.  He was a member of RoEllen Church of Jesus Christ.  He was a retired salesman at Riggs Supply and formerly a lab supervisor at Colonial Rubber.                                       

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Udell Holmes. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. 

William Norman, Nathan Mancell, Billy Crow, Matt Burns, Tim Tilley and Mike Bates will serve as pallbearers.                            

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 29th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances Williams; one daughter, Tonya Renea Williams Ray of Dyersburg; and one grandson, Timothy Matthew “Matt” Burns.
