Martha Elizabeth Cupples

Martha E. Cupples, 91, of Dyersburg, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at her residence.   Born January 2, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George and Rosie Patterson.  Martha was a retired employee of Colonial Rubber.  She was a devoted member of the Sanctuary Pentecostal Church.  She married Louis Cupples Sr. after the death of her first husband, in 1959.  She had no children of her own, but became the mother of his four children, whom loved her dearly.                                        

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Ron Lovins.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.                            

Kevin Fair, Hunter Fair, Thomas Mullins, Brian Cupples, Lynn Parker and Jimmy Davis will serve as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends Friday, July 20th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Fair and husband Bobby, one son, Ronnie Cupples and wife Mary Ann, both of Dyersburg; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charlie Moss, second husband, Louis Cupples; one daughter Josephine Vickers, one son, William Louis Cupples, Jr; one brother, Jess Patterson; and one sister, Bertha Young.
