Carolyn Ann Ozment

Carolyn W. Ozment, 82, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in Baton Rouge, LA, from injuries sustained in a car wreck.  Born July 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Cynthia Kathleen Fowlkes Woodley and Geraldine Needham Woodley.  She was a homemaker and member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.                                      

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018 officiated by Reverend Jackie Harris and Reverend Clyde Thompson. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.                             

Sean Ebner, Nickie Monica, Charlie Ozment, Zack Ozment, Zack Parker and Dewey Shawver will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Pledge and Bill Woodley.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 30th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Ayn Ozment Patterson (Randy) of Arlington, TX; two sons, Bobby Ozment, Jr. (Tammy) of Bonicord, Keith Ozment (Dawn) of Tiptonville; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Booker and brother, Bill Woodley (Cathy), both of Halls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bobby G. Ozment, Sr. (06/13/2009) and brother, Sonny Woodley.
