David Clay "Big D" Davis

David Clay “Big D” Davis, 58, of Friendship, TN died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at his residence.  Born February 01, 1960, he was the son of the late Robert Clifton and Lubie Lucille Eaton Davis.  He was a member of Mason Hess Lodge 93 for 26 years.                                        Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 officiated by Reverend Anthony Carter. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.                             Kris Matthews, Austin Franks, Matthew Pierce, Jay Wells, Eric Wells, Corey Poyner, Theresa Myers, Danny James and Jimmy Hopgood will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 24th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by three sisters, Betty French (Leo) of Dyersburg, Alice Wells (Paul) of Newbern, Ann Whitmore (Russell) of Friendship; one brother, Robert Davis of Dyersburg; five nieces, two nephews, several great and great-great nieces, nephews and special sister, Theresa Myers of Friendship. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John T. Davis and his grandparents, Clyde and Mary Lee Eaton Davis.
