Katie Bell

Katie Bell, 88, of Obion, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Oakwood Community Living Center.  Born June 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Carrie Knight Collier.                                      

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 23, 2018 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Ron Scott with interment in New Haven Cemetery.

 Dustin Smith, Josh Rivers, Larry Chessor, Cameron Chessor, Don Baker and Lee Bell will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Thursday, March 22nd at the funeral home.                                    

She is survived by three daughters, June Watkins of Hornbeak, Linda Hutcheson of Hornbeak and Pamela Kemp of Florida; one son, Jerry Bell of Obion; one sister, Nancy Corder of Dyersburg; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Delbert Bell; two sons, James Donald and Lawrence Bell; one brother, Walter B. Collier; one grandson, Nick Bell and two great-grandchildren, Toni Hailey and Ryker Chessor.
