James "Jim" Nelson Williams

James Nelson “Jim” Williams, 61, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation.  Born November 14, 1956, he was the son of the late Melvin Dale and Bonnie Jean Williams.  Jim attended Dyersburg Church of God.                                      

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Robert Davis, Reverend Ronnie Turner and Pastor Mark Ham with interment to follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

Jason Williams, Stephen Williams, Jonathan Williams, Jagger Williams, Sammy Climer and William Pankey will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Hart, George Lynn, and Ronnie Evans.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 5th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.                                    

He is survived by two sons, Jason Williams (Melissa) and Stephen Williams (Brittney), both of Dyersburg; one sister, Deborah Stoneburner (Dwayne) of Dyersburg; and four grandchildren, Jonathan Williams, Jagger Williams, Sarah Beth Williams, and Hadassah Williams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Chloe Beth Williams; his sister, Cheryl Ann Williams; his brother, Michael Dale Williams; his grandparents, Jack and Vera Williams and James (J.L.) and Mary Nell Wyse.    

The family requests memorials be directed to the Community Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 1055, Dyersburg, TN  38025-1055.
