Flossie Shirley

Flossie Shirley, 91, of Ridgely, died Friday, January 19, 2018 at The Bridge at Ridgely. Born July 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Mamie and Edgar Bivins.

Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at Curry Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel conducted by Brother Kerry Morris with interment to follow in New Haven Cemetery.

Danny Goodman, Jr., Grant Montgomery, David Montgomery, Auston Mealer, Jerry Ray Mealer and Alton Mealer will be serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 22, 2018 beginning at 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by; one daughter Mary Frances Dial (John) of Ridgely, one son Roger Dale Shirley of Ridgely; two brothers, John Bivins and Richard Bivins of Chicago Il; three grandchildren, Terri Lee Becker, John Christopher Dial, Brooke Shirley; and four great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Seth, Kar-lee Becker and Chyna Dial.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years Aaron Shirley and one son Donald Shirley, seven brothers, six sisters.
