Lena Moody

  Lena Moody, 83, of Finley, died Monday, January 15, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.  Born June 26, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Dewitt and Mable Daniels.  She was a retired register nurse and a member of Finley Baptist Church. Mrs. Moody was a nursing supervisor for 30 years.                                    Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Finley Baptist Church  conducted by Brother Charlie Halliburton with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Chad Cooper, Garon Perdue, David Hilliard, Billy Daniels, Ricky Daniels and Chad N. Cooper will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Amanda Cooper, Justin Daniels, Josh Daniels, Todd Mauldin, Abby Hilliard and Taylor Moody. The Moody family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. – 12 Noon at Finley Baptist Church.          She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Odell Moody; one daughter, Amy Mauldin (Robert) of Finley; one son, Marty Moody (Ann) of Finley; six grandchildren, Amanda Cooper (Chad), Justin Daniels (Tiffany), Josh Daniels (Leigh Anne), Todd Mauldin, Abby Hilliard (David) and Taylor Moody (Brittany); ten great-grandchildren, Chad Cooper, Austin Ellington, Cameron Daniels, Chloe Daniels, Lilli Daniels, Ellee Daniels, Charley Moody, Fox Moody, Will Hilliard and Elana Mauldin.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Little Robert Mauldin, one sister, Kay Hendrix and one brother Joe Paul Daniels.      The family requests memorials be directed to the Community Cancer Fund, P.O.
