Airnetia Ragland

Airnetia Ragland, 86, of Decaturville, formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Decatur County General Hospital in Parsons. Born September 24, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Minnie Lock Lawrence.  She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Keith Duke with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Paul Ragland, Charles Ragland, David Wayne Bridges, James Benthal, Jimmy Benthal and Jeremy Fairweather.  

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 13th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by six daughters, Shirley Holland (Joe) of Beech Bluff, Connie Gephardt of Lexington, Jeannie Bridges of Decaturville, Ann Norton of Decaturville, Shirley Bohanan, Nancy Ragland, both of Lexington; two sons, Charles Ragland (Faye), Roger Ragland (Sheila) both of Decaturville; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Johnny Green (Frances) of Wynn, Arkansas. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Tate Ragland; two daughters, Janet Ragland, Carlos Burkeen; two sons, Gary Ragland, Walter A. Ragland; one sister, Opal Fisher; and three brothers, Irvin Lawrence, James Lawrence and William Lawrence.
