Alex Edward "Moose" Hogshooter

Alex Edward "Moose" Hogshooter, three year old son of Allison Dudley Hicks and Jackson Hogshooter, was granted his angel wings on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at LeBonheur Children's Hospital, following complications after heart surgery. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that he had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet very memorable life

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Jeff Hall with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Alexander, Caine Hogshooter and Matthew Reed. 

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

In addition to his parents, Alex is survived by his brothers, Lennox Hogshooter of Dyersburg and Peyton Hicks of Newbern; his grandparents, Jimmy and Linda Dudley of Newbern, Rhonda Roy of Lenox; and his great-grandmother, Clara Burns of D

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Felecia Burns Reaves and his grandfather, Ed Roy.
