Judy Hall Burks

Judy Hall Burks, 74, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Jackson Regional Hospital. Born August 26, 1943, she was a retired teacher with Dyersburg City Schools and a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. She was a member of the FODS and enjoyed playing bridge.  She was a graduate and an avid lifelong fan of Mississippi State University Bulldogs.                               

Memorial services will be at 12 Noon, Friday, June 30, 2017 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church conducted by Reverend Gary Meade.                                                  

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Friday, in the Wheeler Room at the church.                                    

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Johnny Burks; one daughter, Lisa Escue (Billy) of Dyersburg; one son, Taylor Burks (Emily) of Milledgeville, GA; two grandsons, Stephen Escue and Cody Escue; and her brother, Glen Hall (JoAnn) of Myrtle Beach, SC.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Hall, Hazel Hall and Ava Hall.
