Sherry Leon Enochs
January 8, 1936 — June 6, 2017
Mr. Sherry L. Enochs, 81, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional. Born January 8, 1936, he was the son of the late Robert Buel and Girty Lee Rose Enochs. He was retired from Dover and attended McCullough Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Enochs was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Donnie Crone with interment to follow in Rehoboth Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Kimbrell, Rob Carter, Joseph Kimbrell, Coby Kimbrell, Chuck Brock and Tony Kimbrell.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7th at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Frances Enochs; his son, Leon Enochs of Bogota; his granddaughter, Kristi Willis (John Tyler) of Newbern; his great-granddaughter, Anne Tyler Willis; four sisters, Brenda Epps of Little Rock, AR, Kay Jones of Clinton, KY, Betty Kimbrell and Martha Hendren, both of Dyersburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Diane Enochs Lee (2/11/01) and his daughter-in-law, Cindy Enochs (3/28/17).
The family requests memorials be directed to McCullough Chapel Baptist Church, 2277 McCullough Chapel Road, Dyersburg, TN 38024.
