Wayne Sipes

Wayne Sipes, 77, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, May 20, 2017 at his residence. Born October 15, 1939, he was the son of the late Richard and Mildred Irene Warren Sipes.                                  

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Parks Thurmond with interment to follow in Hurricane Hill Cemetery.                   

Pallbearers will be Justin Robinson, Ernie Atwell, Sean Reasons, Tommy Wilson, Randy Pinkley and Pete Pleasant. Honorary pallbearer will be  Eddie Edmiston.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2017 at Curry Funeral Home.                                  

He is survived by his wife, Linda Reasons Sipes; one daughter, Debbie Edmiston of Halls; two sisters, Joyce Brewer and Shelia Robinson, both of Dyersburg; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Sipes; one sister, Cordelia Luckett; and one brother, Terry Sipes.
