Lonnie Sewell

Lonnie Victor Sewell, 62, of the Unionville Community, died Friday, April 14, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Born May 20, 1954, he was the son of the late L.V. and Mary Ann Sewell. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.  Lonnie was a Quality Assurance Technician at NSK.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Southside Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Loren Stephens.    

Pallbearers will be Glen McKee, Donald Lummus, Mike Smith and David Cloar.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Madonna Sewell; three daughters, Robyn Carter (Keith) of Steele, MO, Sherry Davis of Newbern, Hope Bowen (Sean) of Norfolk, VA; one son, Lonnie Sewell, II (Jessica) of Dyersburg; his sister, Jeannie Sewell Meredith of Knoxville; his brother, Tommy Sewell (Debbie), of White House; seven grandchildren, Robyn Cantrell (Cody), Hunter Williams, Lindsey Williams, Rylie Bowen, Atticus Bowen, August Bowen, Silas Bowen; and two great-grandchildren, Camden Cantrell and Jaxon Cantrell.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Sewell.  

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to Southside Baptist Church, 505 Christie Street, Dyersburg, TN  38024.
