Hazel McCutcheon

Hazel McCutcheon, of Dyersburg, died on March 15th, 2017 at the Highlands of Dyersburg. Born June 23rd, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Obie Hollingsworth and Mary Cox Hollingsworth. She was a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, March 17th, starting at 5pm until 8pm.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg, TN at 1984 St. John Avenue, 11am, Saturday, March 18th, 2017. Mr. Scott Owen, of Parr Avenue Church of Christ located at 2482 Parr Avenue, Dyersburg, TN, will preside over the services. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Anderson, Autry Anderson, Dwayne Anderson, Jimmy Anderson, Billy Patton, and Jamie Anderson.

An avid gardener, quilt maker who loved raising rabbits, she is survived by one sister, Wilma (Aunt Glen) Cannon of Poplar Bluff, MO, three brothers, Max Hollingsworth of Dyersburg, Don Hollingsworth of Crestview, FL and Garland Hollingsworth of Illinois. Hazel is also survived by her daughter, Avon Fletcher, and sons Autry Anderson, Lewis Anderson, Jimmy Anderson and Dennis Anderson. She is also survived by her grandchildren Billy Wayne Jr. Woods, Donnie Woods, Melissa Woods, Melinda Ryan, Glenn Anderson, Sharon Riley, Elizabeth Permenter and her husband Paul, Jessica Anderson, Tina Armstrong, Dwayne Anderson and his wife Anita, Shelley Harrison and Jamie Anderson, as well as nineteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy Wayne Woods and her great-grandson Bryan Paul Anderson.
