Laura Bivens

Laura Duncan Bivens, 40, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at her residence. Born January 23, 1977, she was the daughter of Vicky Haynes (Jimmy) of Halls and Allen Wayne Duncan (Carolyn) of Ripley.  She was a Registered Radiologic Technologist at Lauderdale Community Hospital and a member of Finley Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Charlie Halliburton with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.   

Pallbearers will be Billy D. Bivens, Jimmy Haynes, Lowell Tillman, Jr., Bruce Swims, Ricky Ancar and Amo Baggett.  Honorary pallbearers will be Belinda Baggett, Traci Ing, Alisha Moody and Dianne Warren.

The Bivens family will receive friends Tuesday, February 7th from 5:00 – 8:30 pm at the funeral home.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband, David Bivens; two children, Landon Kyle Bivens and Neely Lauren Bivens, both of Dyersburg; her twin sister, Angela Michelle Duncan of Halls; and her father-in-law, Billy D. Bivens.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Brenda Bivens.
