William "Bill" Finley

William “Bill” Finley, 86, of the Fowlkes community, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at his residence.  Born November 8, 1931, he was the son of the late Vernon King and Ida Louise Finley. He was a retired business owner. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and he was a Baptist.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m.  Saturday, February 4, 2017in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Danny O’Guin with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.   

Pallbearers will be Steve Stafford, Jeff Heathcott, Jeff Yarbrough, Robert Horner and Glen Jones.   

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 4th beginning at 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his daughter, Gina Finley of Atlanta, GA and his son, Charles W. Finley of Dyersburg and his devoted friend and caregiver, Marty Richardson of Fowlkes.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Jean Finley and one brother, Jerry Miller Finley.
