Charles R. Holland

Charles R. Holland, 81, of Dyersburg, died Monday, January 23, 2017 at his daughter’s residence. Born November 17, 1935, he was the son of the late Bob and Nettie Holland. He was retired from Dyersburg Fabrics and member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Jim Chamblee and Rick Crawford with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26th at the funeral home.

He is survived by his daughter, Janice Moody Choate (Johnny); his daughter-in-law, Judy Holland; grandchildren, Stephanie Moody Poindexter (Joey), Benjamin “Cory” Moody (Holly), Emily Holland Davis (Jimmy Joe); great-grandchildren, Dawson Moody, Landon Moody, Gunner Davis and Gavin Davis; all of Dyersburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Holland; his son, Charles “Chuck” Holland; one sister, Margie Tucker and one brother, Robert “JR” Holland.
