Doris Littlejohn

Doris L. Littlejohn, 87, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Dyersburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation.  Born June 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James Eathel and Effie Bell Jones Littlejohn.  She was a homemaker and member of Bogota Baptist Church where she served at secretary for over 30 years.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Brother John Wayne Fowler with interment to follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.   

Pallbearers will be Brian Carter, Jerry Carter, Chris Carter, Lynn Sikes, Lee Sikes, Brian Carter, II and Danny Hutcherson.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her niece, Syble Carter of Ellijay, GA; and two nephews, Bobby Lynn Sikes (Lee Ann) of Dyersburg, James D. Sikes (Donna) of Ridgely.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Sikes.

The family requests memorials be directed to Bogota Baptist Church.
