Connie B. Sandusky

Connie B. Sandusky, 69, of the RoEllen Community in Dyersburg, died Monday, July 25, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.  Born December 10, 1946, she was the daughter of the late R.B. and Loreen Harris Blackley.  She was a homemaker and member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Dan Tilly with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.   

Pallbearers will be George Franklin, John Franklin, Charles Franklin, W.H. Sandusky, Jr., Skyler Harris, Grant Swims, Zachery Sanders and Jon Harris.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 27th from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by husband of 54 years, Major Sandusky; three daughters, Judy Harris of the RoEllen Community, Debbie Sandusky, Rebecca Swims, both of Caruthersville, MO; three sons, W.H. Sandusky of Hayti, MO, Charles Sandusky of Aulander, NC, David Sandusky of Layfayette, IN; two sisters, Brenda Wiggins of Lake County, Mamie Crutchfield of Jackson; 21 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren and one additional grandchild due in February 2017.

In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Sandusky; one sister, Donna Beard; and two brothers, Buddy Blackley and Aubrey Blackley.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff at Dyersburg Nursing and Rehabilitation for the love and kindness shown to their wife and mother.
