Lavelle Smith Albritton

Lavelle Smith Albritton, 80, of Tiptonville, TN died Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN. Born May 1, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Morgan Lafayette and Anna Elizabeth Dean Davis. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Mrs. Albritton was a bookkeeper for J.E. and Johnny Vaughn for 38 years and also Tennessee Department of Corrections for 15 years.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Archie Larry with interment to follow in Antioch Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shane Gleason, Parks Lebo, Daniel Smith, Greg Rivers, Ricky Gray and Kenny Fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Hatley, Teddy Hatley, Bobby Joe Jones and Rob Bell.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 5th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Smith Jones (Curtis) of Tiptonville; her son, Bennie Randall Smith (Brandi) of Nashville; one brother, Leroy Davis of Austin, TX; six grandchildren, Russell Singleteary, Jessica Singleteary, Krystal Rivers, Matthew Leland, Anthony Smith, Austin Smith; four great-grandchildren, Destiny Rivers, Jayden Rivers, Makinley Rivers and Cayden Singleteary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Kyle Smith; one sister, Amelia Davis and one brother, Ralph Davis.
