Sue Myers

Sue Myers, 81, of Bogota, died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.  Born May 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Grady and Janie Brooks.         She was a member of Bogota Baptist Church.  

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend John Wayne Fowler with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.   

Pallbearers will be Ricky Brooks, Ronnie Brooks, Billy Gene Brooks, David Brooks, Randy Brooks, Kevin Brooks, Roger Long, Lanny Long and David Jones.

The family will receive friends Monday beginning at 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Dozier (Danny) of Bogota; her son, Wade Myers (Nina Lowrance) of Union City; one sister, Thelma McGuire of Pensacola, FL; two grandchildren, Jason Dozier, Justin Myers; and three great-grandchildren, Marlee Kate Dozier, Lottee Klaire Dozier and Louis Myers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, J.K. Myers; one sister, Margaret Presgrove and one brother, Buddy Brooks.  

The family requests memorials be directed to Bogota Baptist Church or Kidney Foundation.
