Sue Fisher, 94, of Ridgely, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at her residence. Born October 23, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Sally Dillard Maddox. She was a homemaker and member of Ridgely First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at Ridgely First United Methodist Church conducted by Dr. John Lowrance with interment to follow in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 13th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Pallbearers will be Brad Keiser, Pete Keiser, Will Keiser, Kent Patterson, John Riley and Fred Wortman, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Carey “Skipper” Homra, Trent Patterson, Joe Riley, Bob Shull and Aaron Staulcup.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Stone of Dyersburg; 6 grandchildren, Susan Burns (Randy), Christy Hays (Tim), Richard Clancy, Jr., Jennifer Delancey (Ray), David Stone, Angie Stone Harris; 8 great-grandchildren, Joey Nance, Laura Nance, Maghen Clancy, Catherine Clancy, Tyler Harris, Dylan Delancey, Matthew Delancey, Christina Delancey; and 4 great-great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Nance, Logan Nance, Kaliyah Nance and Kadri Nance.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Gaylon Fisher (11/15/86), her daughter, Kathleen Clancy (8/13/13) and 8 siblings.
The family requests memorials be directed to Ridgely First United Methodist Church, 120 Church Street, Ridgely, TN 38080.
