Buddy Wayne Leonard

Buddy Wayne Leonard, 75, of Tiptonville, died Friday, March 4, 2016 at his residence.   Born June 10, 1940, he was the son of the late Thomas Tilton “Dobie” and Edna Cochran Leonard. He was employed at Reelfoot State Park.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Monday, March 7, 2016 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Jerry Leggett with interment to follow in Keefe Cemetery.   

Pallbearers will be Jerry Simmons, Brent Work, Ken Hogg, Andy Crews, Jimmy Simmons and Kendall Salmon.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tony White, Jeff Martin, Bud Harper, Steve Allen, Rockie Grenell, Tiptonville Rescue Squad and the Tiptonville Fire Department.  

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 6th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bettie Sue Faulkner Leonard; and his son, Thomas Wayne Leonard of Tiptonville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Thomas Leonard.
