Joe “Bud” Reaves, 79, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional. Born November 28, 1936 to the late Clarence and Lorene Pinkley Reaves, he was a partner at Mill Pallet. He was a member of Sorrell’s Chapel United Methodist Church and an avid golfer and horseman.
Memorial services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 2, 2016 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 pm.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pat Reaves; 1 son, Steve Reaves and wife Laurie of Dyersburg; 2 grandchildren, Jacob Reaves, Josh Reaves; and 2 great-grandchildren, Maddie Reaves and Clayton Reaves.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mike Reaves and a sister.
The family requests memorials be directed to the Community Cancer Fund, PO Box 1055, Dyersburg, TN 38024.
