Opal Maxine McDougle

Opal Maxine McDougle, 93, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Dyersburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born September 3, 1922 to the late William Isaac and Johnnie Mae Hall Thomas, she was a retired office manager. She was a lifelong member of Garden Oaks Church of Christ in Houston, TX. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Patsy Rae Talbert and husband Jim, of Halls, Gail Sue McDougle and husband, Robert Stuart, of Louisville, CO; 4 grandchildren, Cullen Stevenson Hendrix, Jason Craig Hendrix, Darryl Clinton Jones, Jacquelynn Renee Scivicque and 5 great-grandchildren, Hannah Rae Jones, Halle Marie Jones, Olivia Grace Scivicque, Faith Renee Scivicque and Lena Michael Hendrix . In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milam Clinton McDougle and her brother Kenneth H. Thomas. Cremation services are under the direction of Curry Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Brookside Memorial Cemetery in Houston, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Halls Church of Christ, P.O.
