Jerry T. Gibson

Jerry T. Gibson, 78, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He was born September 10, 1936 to the late Jim and Lurlene Lowery Gibson. He was in the National Guard for 6 years and was retired from Bradshaw and Company Insurors. Funeral services for Mr. Gibson will be at 12 Noon Saturday, August 8, 2015, Graveside at Fairview Cemetery conducted by Mr. Parks Thurmon. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Charles Kelly, Keith Perry, Jeff Brewer, Jerry Roberts, Larry Gibson and Rufus Noble. The family will receive friends Saturday beginning at 10:00 - 11:45 am at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Gibson; 2 daughters, Karen Gibson Noble (Rufus) of Dyersburg, Dina Gibson Jackson (Jeff) of Memphis; 1 sister, Wanda Brewer (Billy) of Dyersburg; 1 brother, Larry Gibson (Jane) of Dyersburg; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Gray Gibson. The family requests memorials be directed Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
