Ernest Jason "Hoss" Joyce

Ernest Jason "Hoss" Joyce, 40, of Ridgely, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born March 18, 1975 to Patsy Lou Markham Joyce and the late Ernest Junior Joyce. He was disabled. Funeral services for Mr. Joyce will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Clayton Mahan. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Brian Ray Smith, Carl Meddows, Cotton Brewer, Ted Avery, Derek Johnson, Chris Tippit, Kelly Bartlett, Jason Coleman, Roger Belt and Benny Long. Honorary pallbearers will be William Tolley, Zach Tolley Tim Haycraft, Nick Roy, Sam Johnson, Matt Rivers and Terry Williams. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 25th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Courtney Joyce of Ridgely;; 3 daughters, Sabrina Joyce, Megan Joyce, Maggie Joyce, all of Ridgely; 1 son, Ernest Jason "Bubba" Joyce of Ridgely; his mother, Patsy Joyce of Ridgely; 2 step-daughters, Lilianna Rivers, Alivia Rivers, both of Ridgely; his sister, Kim Meddows (Carl) of Ridgely; and 1 granddaughter, Mackenzie Chadwick.
