James W. "Jimmy" Booker

James Booker, 65, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Methodist Hospital Germantown. He was a construction worker. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Booker; 1 daughter, Melondy Myers of Friendship; 1 son, Robby Elliott (Heidi) of Fort Bliss, TX; 1 step-daughter, Christie Glynn (Richard) of Mesa, AZ; 1 step-son Kevin Woods, (Dana) of Dyersburg; 2 sisters, Donna Neal of Ripley, Shirley Vaughn of Middleton; 4 brothers, Larry Ditto (Tammy) of Paris, Tony Ditto of Brownsville, Lynn Ditto (Vickie) of Gadsden and Jerry Booker (Laverne) of Halls; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Willimeter Dennison Ditto and Woodrow Booker. Cremation services are under the direction of Curry Funeral Home.
