Betty Lou Overbey, 85, of Dyersburg died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at The Highlands of Dyersburg. She was born September 12, 1929 to the late Thomas and Gracie Stafford Flippin. She was a homemaker. Cremation services are under the direction of Curry Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Overbey of Henderson; 3 sons, Bobby Overbey of Dyersburg, James Edward Overbey of Indiana and John L. Overbey; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ralph Overbey; 1 sister, Themla Garrett; and 3 brothers, Billy, Gean and Junior Flippin.
