Ernest Riley, Sr. (October 12, 1948 - January 2, 2015) Mr. Ernest Riley, Sr., age 66, of Murray, Kentucky died at 11:20 am Friday at his residence. Mr. Riley was born October 12, 1948 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late James Ward Riley & Janie Elizabeth Walton Riley. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Ernest Riley, Jr. & James Riley. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Annie G. Shawver Riley; daughter, Andrea Alexander (James), Lenox, TN; son, Shane Dudley (Misty), Ft. Myers, FL; sister, Mary Jane Riley, Newbern, TN; seven grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, & cousins. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg, TN with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home in Murray and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg, TN.
