Mae Lorene Curtis Fortner, 90, of Dyersburg died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12 , 2014 Graveside at the City Cemetery in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by 2 daughters Virginia Haley and Gail Ashley, both of Dyersburg; 2 sons Billy Curtis and Thomas Earl Curtis, both of Dyersburg; 2 brothers J.D. Smothers of Oklahoma, Joe Earl Smothers of Florida; 9 grandchildren,19 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands Ernest Albert Curtis and James Fortner, 1 son Pedro Curtis, 1 sister Evelyn Smothers and 2 brothers Ben Roy Smothers and Marshall Smothers.
