Willie Ray Copeland, 67, of Dyersburg died Friday, October 31, 2014 at this residence. He was a retired truck driver. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery conducted by Brother Ronnie Turner. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 4th from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Edward "Bo" Copeland, Michael Hurst, Ricky Hollis, Billy Smith, Darrell Sweatt and Cody Sweatt. He is survived by 3 sons Anthony Copeland of Dyersburg, Dewayne Copeland of Tatumville, Donald Shane Copeland of Newbern; 1 daughter Nancy Lou Copeland of Dyersburg; longtime companion Nancy Phillips of Dyersburg; 1 sister Virginia Ann Bailey of Dyersburg; 2 brothers Johnny Lee Copeland of Dyersburg, Billy Warren Copeland of Ridgely; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Hassel and Visey Ruthie May Brown Copeland and 5 brothers J.C. Copeland, Harley Copeland, Larry Gene Copeland, Eddie Earl Copeland and James Lewis Copeland.
