Mary E. Payne

Mary E. Payne, 83, of Dyersburg, died Monday, October 27, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1931 to Albert and Kate Fuqua Smith. She retired in 1986 as an LPN and was a member of East Dyersburg Methodist Church. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery conducted by Brother Eddie Faulkner. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, October 30th from 1:00 - 2:45 pm at the funeral home. She is survived by three sisters Wanda Brandon of Dinuba, CA, Barbara Holden of Lake Cormorant, MS, Katherine Eudaley of Dyersburg; several nieces and nephews including two nieces Janice Moody of Dyersburg, Brenda Johns of Jackson and a very dear friend Olen Shelton of Dyersburg. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Herman E. Criswell and Marvin Payne; three sisters Geraldine Puckett, Etheline Tipton, Minnie Lee Gregson and one brother Daniel B.
