Paul J. Boyd

Paul J. Boyd, 67, of Ridgely, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born March 17, 1947 to Jess and Virgie Simmons Boyd (both deceased), he was a retired carpenter and member of Calvary Independent Church. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2014 at Calvary Independent Church conducted by Brother Carl Southerland. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, September 18th from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the church. Pallbearers will be James Moody, Zac Ricketts, Brian Tate, Aaron Tate, Carl Bennett and Dillon Kolwyck. He is survived by his wife Betty Boyd of Ridgely; one daughter Penny Lanier (Mike) of Ridgely; one son Paul Junion Boyd, II (Sharon) of Ridgely; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly Williams, Kayla Tippit, Jesse Lanier, Micah Lanier, Misty Molina, Tracey Decker; 3 great-grandchildren, Cody Flowers, Dilynn Smith, Abby Williams; and several brothers and sisters.
