Maxine Bufford

Maxine Bufford, 95, of Denver, CO, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Littleton Assisted Living in Colorado. She was born in Rutherford, TN on January 13, 1919 to Robert Milford and Cleo C. (Dodd) Boucher. She was a homemaker, member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and an avid bridge player. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 Graveside at Fairview Cemetery conducted by Dr. Larry Blakeburn. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by her two daughters, Serena Henson (Ralph) of Dyersburg, Demetria Tickle (Randy) of Highlands Ranch, CO; four grandchildren, Jennifer Davis (Chad), Amy Armstrong (David), Virginia Tickle (John Dannen), Rankin Tickle; and four great-grandchildren, Ches Davis, Jenna Claire Armstrong, Macey Armstrong and Bailey Tickle. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers, Paris Boucher, Robert Boucher, Vance Boucher, William Boucher and Harry Boucher.
