Alice Ernestine "Tena" Stanfield

Alice Ernestine “Tena” Stanfield, 87, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg.  Born August 28, 1935, she is the daughter of the late Ernest and Chloris Cooper Whitt.  She was a homemaker and member of Miston Baptist Church

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon, Monday, April 10, 2023 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Farron Stewart, Christopher Stewart, Austin Tidwell, Andy Head, Don Harris and Jason Mayfield will be serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Gabrielle Head and Lane Stewart.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 10^th beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Billy Stanfield; her daughter, Dena Bottoms (Tommy) of Dyersburg; her son, Terry Stanfield of Jackson; one granddaughter, Terri Head; one great-granddaughter Gabrielle Head; and her sister Zibbie Carroll of Dyersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Gray and Peggy Decker.

The family requests memorials be directed to Miston Baptist Church.
