Bobbye Jean Criswell

Bobbye J. Criswell, 91, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at AHC Dyersburg.  Born February 17, 1930, she was the daughter of the late W.E. and Nora Hodge.   She was retired from Dyer County Schools as a cook at Holice Powell School.  Mrs. Criswell was a member of Parrish Chapel Baptist Church. 

Graveside services will be Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Dyer County Memorial Gardens.  Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.

She is survived by her two sons, Danny Criswell (Della) of Dyersburg, Billy Criswell (Melinda) of Newbern; one brother Fred Hodge of Trenton; three grandchildren, Matthew Criswell, Austin Criswell, Candi Criswell; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend W.L. Criswell and her sister, Inez Ellis.
