Carolyn Perkins

Carolyn F. Perkins, 88, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis. Born June 25, 1932, she is the daughter of the late Clint and Annie L. “Sook” Frazier.  She was retired from Colonial Rubber as a professional secretary for 22 years and a lifelong member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was involved in Keenagers and LOGAS.  Mrs. Perkins was an avid bridge player.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Annetta Camp with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, beginning at 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.

Due to the families concern for the safety of others, face masks and social distancing will be required.  

Barry Frazier, Cal Long, Cody Concklin, Eric Concklin, Brad Perkins, John Francis, Peyton Francis, Ty Gilbreath, Ryan Westhoelter and Tate Chalk will serve as pallbearers.

She is survived by three children, Cynthia Perkins Gofoth of Covington, Connie Perkins Concklin (Jimmy) of Germantown; Curtis “Bud” Perkins of Fort Lauderdale, FL; eight grandchildren, Carrie Moore (Charles), Amy Long (Cal), Jennifer Taylor (Tucker), Jessica Chalk (Davey), Eric Concklin, Cody Concklin, Brad Perkins, Matthew Perkins; granddog, Toby; thirteen great-grandchildren, Brooke Westhoelter, Ryan Westhoelter, Ty Gilbreath, Ella Gilbreath, Avery Davis, John Francis, Peyton Francis, Waverly Taylor, Tate Chalk, Henley Chalk, Riley Perkins, Lauren Perkins and Damien Perkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Doyle Perkins; her granddaughter, Amanda Concklin; her brother, Bobby Clint Frazier;  

The family requests memorials be directed Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2280 Parr Avenue, Dyersburg, TN 38024.
