Cathy Yant

Cathy J. Yant, 70, of Ridgely, died Monday, January 8, 2024 at her residence. Born January 18, 1953, she is the daughter of the late Robert Cunard, III and Betty Elaine Sholes Mills.  She was a retired nurse.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Piper of Barlett, IL; her son, Levi Yant (Sian) of Nottingham, England; two grandchildren, Morgan Piper, Max Piper; her niece, Jaime Burpo (Scott) of Tiptonville; her nephew, Jim Mills (Kim) of Tiptonville, Jason Mills (Natalie) of Ridgely; sister in law, Barbara Schuff of Tiptonville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Mills, Steve Mills and her niece, Jennifer Mills.

The family requests memorials be directed to Best Friends Animal Society www.bestfriends.org or any animal shelter of donors choice.
