Christine Taylor Henson

Christine “Tene” Taylor Henson, 83, of Ramer, died Thursday, November 25, 2021 at AHC McNairy County Senior Living in Selmer.  Born January 26, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Allen and Cora Butler Taylor. She was a member of Stantonville Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2021 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Matt Cook, Randy Cook and William Thomason with interment to follow in Zion Cemetery at Elbridge.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Thomason, Justin Shirley, Clay Shirley, Joel Gray, John Bellah and Tom Cobb. Honorary pallbearers will be William Thomason, Ian Gray and Hunter Bellah.

Visitation for Mrs. Henson will be held Sunday November 28^th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her two daughters, Vicky Thomason and husband Jim of Corinth, MS, Devona Shirley and husband Mike of Ramer; one sister, Louise Fagan of Trimble; six grandchildren, James Thomason (Jennifer), Ashley Gray (Joel), Rhonda Bellah (John), Justin Shirley (Amy), Clay Shirley (Mary Beth), Alyssa Cobb (Tom); ten great-grandchildren, William Thomason, Tamara Uredi, Aspen Morgan (Christian), Mallorie Gray, Ian Gray, Callie Bellah, Hunter Bellah, Harper Shirley, Nate Shirley, Jed Cobb; and one great-great-grandchild, Maverick Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William C. Henson; her great-grandchild, Elijah Cobb; one sister, Clara Cook and three brothers, Delbert Taylor, Dexter Taylor and Johnny Taylor.
