Cynthia Ellen Powell

Cynthia Ellen Powell, 55, of Gates, TN, died Monday, July 1, 2019 at her residence. Born January 28, 1964, she was the daughter of Betty Travelstead and the late Jesse Willaid Shea. She was disabled. She is survived by her two sons, Bobby Carroll Richter, Jr., Walter Richter, both of Gates; her mother Betty Travelstead of Covington; one grandson, Jesse Richter, one granddaughter to be born in October, Alice Ellen Richter; one sister, Teresa Travelstead of Dyersburg; and two brothers, Tony Travelstead and Sam Travelstead, both of Dyersburg. She was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Joe Shea. Cremation services are under the direction of Curry Funeral Home. We are privileged and honored to serve the Powell family.
