Doug "Mc" Brown

Doug “Mc” Brown, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Regional One in Memphis. Born February 15, 1944, he is the son of the late Raymond Smith and Evie Lena Reed Brown.  He was a member of Bogota Baptist Church.                        

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Jim Branscum with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.  

The family will receive visitors Wednesday beginning at 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 54 ½ years, Dianne Brown; one daughter, Tammy Lo (Kanfay) of Dyersburg; one son, Matthew Brown (Angie) of Lenox; one sister, Edna Sue Tirey of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Amber Hixson (Joey), Koren Lo, Kye Lo; and five great-grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his brother, W.J. Brown.
