Hazel Estella Haynie

July 21, 1938 — December 18, 2018

Hazel E. Haynie, 80, of Tiptonville, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at West Tennessee Healthcare – Dyersburg. Born July 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Lynn Jake and Ellie Estella Potter Jacobs. She was a retired cook at McDonald’s and Hardees. Mrs. Haynie was a member of the Church of Christ. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Burress Chapel Church of Christ in Tiptonville officiated by Jeff Odell with interment to follow in Lake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.                                   She is survived by her husband, Bill Haynie; five daughters, Tammy L. Bell of Paris, Elizabeth A. Teeter (Joseph Brooker) of Union City, Melissa Bradsahw (Clarence) of Mayfield, KY, Tabitha Woodward (Billy) of Jackson, Regina Haynie of Lexington; one son, Jason Haynie (Kathy) of Henderson; twelve grandchildren; and two sisters, Ellie Walton and Pat Morris, both of Tiptonville. Zachary Lynn Bell, Dalton Teeter, Joseph Brooker, Jim Nichols, Scott Nichols and Don Reel will serve as pallbearers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jettie Lane, Evelyn Jeton, Avalyn Thorpe and five brothers, James Lee Williams, Earl Williams, Huston Williams, Fred Williams and Sammie Jacobs.       .
