Jean Ketchum Jordan

October 14, 1931 — June 22, 2021

Jean Ketchum Jordan, 89, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Harborview Dyersburg.  Born October 14, 1931 in Obion County, she was the daughter of the late Mose and Florence Ella Hoskins Moody.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery officiated by Reverend Robert Craig.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Spencer Boals, Charlie Dunn, Hubert Jones, T.J. Jones, Richard Pike and Taylor Moody will serve as pallbearers.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Nye (Gorden Campbell) of The Woodlands, TX; two grandchildren, Georgia Lee Ketchum Street (Ben) of Pensacola, FL and Alexander Wilburn Ketchum of Ferndale, MI; and three great-grandchildren, Scarlett Jean Street, Isabelle Celeste Street and James Avery Street.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Wilburn Ketchum; husbands, Charles Wilburn Ketchum and Harry Jordan; four sisters, Olive Louise Moody Stribling, Flora Loucille Bishop Mathas, Ruby Hicks Moody Simrell, Dorothy May Moody Reasons; and two brothers, Aron Moody and James Troy Moody.

The family requests memorials be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL  33607.
