Judy Goodman

Judy Goodman, 68, of Ridgely, died Thursday, July 22, 2021 at her residence.  Born August 9, 1952, she is the daughter of the late Joel and Cora Roberson Dial.  She was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church.  Judy was retired from Bancorp South as President.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Paul Adams with interment to follow in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 24^th at the funeral home from 5-7 pm.  

James Dial, Jr., Stephen Michael Scott, Jr., Johnny Hutching, Danny Goodman, III, David Callens and David Dial will serve as pallbearers.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Danny Goodman; two sons, Danny Goodman, Jr. (Penny), Keith Goodman, both of Ridgely; three grandchildren, Danny Goodman, III, Brittany Goodman, Alexis Goodman; three sisters, Lucy Autry, Norma Dannatell, both of Cocoa Beach, FL, Barbara Bucklin (Robert), of Raleigh, NC; three brothers, Danny Dial (Linda) of Dyersburg, John Dial (Frances), and James Dial, both of Ridgely.    

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Peschke, Joann Dial Wood and two brothers, Joel Thomas Dial and Robert Neal.
